Magnificent views are wonderful to capture through a lens, but picture postcard style photography is exactly what it is – a pretty picture! The Mourne mountains and Dundrum Bay command spectacular photographic opportunities for much more than just another 'nice' photo for the mantle. Over the last five years I've set out to capture just how diverse these two locations can appear and how creative the view can be interpreted on any given day of the year. Where possible, I’ve tried to achieve unusual compositions, images which are dynamic and/or totally abstract, setting them aside from the usual ‘tourist brochure’ style photography we’re all so familiar with.
